Who is Ali Wafdi ?
About me
Hey! Welcome to my personal website! My name is Ali Wafdi,
and I am an Industrial & Systems Engineer based in the Washington
metropolitan area. I am a polyglot and hybrid consultant (functional
and technical), a passionate engineer, a philomath and a keen
researcher. I have worked on several Information Systems
implementations in different industries where I have occupied
various roles. During my academic career, I have modeled various
logistics problems, designed and implemented solutions. I am
interested in analyzing, designing, and developing solutions for
complex systems. I had the chance to work at different organizations
and collaborate on various projects in different fields
(manufacturing, services, biotechnology, healthcare, higher education,
transportation, retail, and banking). For my master’s degree, I
designed and developed a Digital Twin prototype for COVID-19
vaccination centers using Internet of Things (IoT) and Simulation
technologies. The results of my research can be leveraged and
applied to other sectors. I like working on projects that have a
positive impact on our society and I am not afraid of leaving my
comfort zone! I love reading, writing, and public speaking. I am
passionate about jogging, swimming, and biking. Whether you would
